ISTRAC invites application for positions as indicated below which are temporary posts, but likely to be continued indefinitely :

1. Technical Assistant

• Number of Posts : 10 (SC-3, ST-1, OBC – 2, PWD-1, UR-3)
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Age Limit : 35 years as on 14-12-2009 ( Relaxable as per rules)
• Essential Qualification : First Class Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Computer Engg. / Mechanical Engineering from recognized University/ Institution

2. Scientific Assistant

• Number of Posts : 03 (OBC-1, UR-2)
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Age Limit : 35 years as on 14-12-2009 ( Relaxable as per rules)
• Essential Qualification : First Class Bachelor Degree in Science with mathematics as one of the subject and any other two subjects from the following (Physics,Chemistry, Computer Science, / Information Tech. Electronics, & Statistics) from recognized University/ Institution.

3. Library Assistant “A”

• Number of Posts : 01 (UR)
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Age Limit : 35 years as on 14-12-2009 ( Relaxable as per rules)
• Essential Qualification : First Class Bachelor Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science or equivalent from recognized University /Institution with First Class.
