HOCL, a multiunit Chemical Company known world over for its quality products is looking for the following positions at their Unit at Ambalamugal, Kerala State.

1. WELFARE OFFICER: No. of Posts: 1 (One) (Reserved for PWD candidates-(Visually Handicapped) Scale of Pay: Rs.8600-250-14600 + Allowances Qualification : Degree from a recognized University with Degree or Diploma in Social Science or LL.B Degree (with Labour Law as elective subject).Knowledge of Malayalam is essential. Experience: The candidates should have 1- 2 years post qualification Experience as Welfare Officer.

2. MECHANICAL ENGINEER: No. of Posts: 1(One) (Reserved for PWD candidates-(Hearing Impaired) Scale of Pay: Rs.8600-250-14600 + Allowances Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 1-2 years experience in Mechanical Dept. of large Chemical / Petro-Chemical/Refinery Plant / Industry.

3. MATERIALS OFFICER: No. of Posts: 1 (One)(Reserved for PWD candidates-(Visually Handicapped) Scale of Pay: Rs.8600-250-14600 + Allowances (Qualification: Degree in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Experience: 1-2 years experience in Materials Dept. of large Chemical / Petro-Chemical/Refinery Plant / Industry.

4. TELEPHONE OPERATOR GR.III: No. of Posts: 1(One) (Reserved for PWD candidates-(Visually Handicapped) Qualification : Graduate, Typewriting English (Lower) with PBX Certificate, Knowledge of Computer Applications. Scale of Pay: 5100-125-6100-135-8260 + Allowances. Experience: Minimum two years experience in PBX Operation.

5. ASST. TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL): No. of Posts: 1(One) (Reserved for PWD candidates-(Visually Handicapped) Qualification: SSLC with ITI (Fitter). Scale of Pay: 4750-105-5590-115-7430 + Allowances. Experience : Minimum two years experience in the relevant field.

6. GENERAL WORKMAN GR.III: No. of Posts: 1(One) (Reserved for PWD candidates-(Visually Handicapped) Qualification : SSLC Passed. Should posess the following physical Measurements:-Height (Without footwear)–165 cms, Weight-50 kg, Chest–81 cms, Chest Expansion 5 cms. Scale of Pay: 4200-80-4840-95-6360 + Allowances. Experience :Minimum 2 years experience as General Worker in a Private /Public Sector enterprise.

7. TECHNICIAN (INSTRUMENTATION) TRAINEE : No. of Posts: 1(One) - Reserved for PWD candidates - Hearing Impaired. Qualification : SSLC, Diploma in Instrument Technology with Ist class. Stipend : Rs. 6000/-per month during Ist year of Training and Rs.7000/per month during the second year of training. On successful completion of training they will be placed in the scale of pay of
Rs. 5100-125-6100-135-8260.

Maximum age as on 01.10.2009 : 40 years for all posts including relaxation of 10 years for PWD.
