Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the following vacancies in the Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Hqs. Umiam :

Subject Matter Specialist(T-6) , Posts : 20 Posts,
Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with grade pay of Rs. 5,400

Farm Manager (T-6) , Posts : 01
Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with grade pay of Rs. 5,400

Age limit :as on date of closing is 35 years (Maximum).Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex. Serviceman/Physically handicapped etc. as applicable to each category.

Fee :
The candidates will have to pay application fee of Rs. 200/-(Rupees two hundred)in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in the name of Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam. Candidates of SC/ST categories will be fully exempted from payingapplication fee.


The last date for receipt of the application is 20th November, 2009.

Candidates applying for two or more posts will have to submit application separately for each post and have to super scribe the envelope “Application for the post of………………..”, addressed to the Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umroi Road, Umiam – 793 103, Meghalaya
