CIRCOT invites application from the eligible candidates for filling up following vacant posts at CIRCOT, Mumbai and its Regional Unit at Guntur, CIRCOT, under the Administrative Control of I.C.A.R., New Delhi. These Posts are of Permanent nature and at present, are filled on temporary basis. The appointee will be made permanent subject to satisfactory performance during the Probationary Period.

01. Technician Grade T-3
(Mechanical Processing Division)
i) No. of Post : 1
ii) Pay Band + Grade Pay :- Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/-
iii) Qualifications :- Bachelor’s Degree / Three years Diploma in textile Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
iv) Age limit :- 18 to 30 yrs.

02. Librarian Grade T-3
i) No. of Post: 1
ii) Pay Band + Grade Pay :- Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/-
iii) Qualifications :- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, B. Lib. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
iv) Age limit :- 18 to 30 yrs.

03. Laboratary Technician Grade T-3 (Q.E.I.D.)
i) No. of Post: 1
ii) Pay Band + Grade Pay :- Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/-
iii) Qualifications :- B.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Statistics or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
iv) Age limit :- 18 to 30 yrs.

04. Technical Assistant Grade T-3 (T.I.)
i) No. of Post: 1
ii) Pay Band + Grade Pay :- Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/-
iii) Qualifications :- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with knowledge in press and editorial matter or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
iv) Age limit :- 18 to 30 yrs.
Note: Out of above 4 posts ( T – 3) , one each is reserved for S.T. & O.B.C. & 2 are for general candidates.

05. (Technician Grade T-1)
(Mechanical Processing Division)

ii) Pay Band + Grade Pay :- Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/-
iii) Qualifications :- Matriculate with atleast one year Certificate from a Recognized Institution in the relevant field.
iv) Age limit :- 18 to 30 yrs.

06. Technician Grade T-1
(ARIS Cell)
i) No. of Post: 1
ii) Pay Band + Grade Pay :- Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/-
iii) Qualifications :- Matriculate with atleast one year Certificate from Recognized Institution in the relevant field. Knowledge of Computer operation desirable.
iv) Age limit :- 18 to 30 yrs.

07. Technician Grade T-1
(Q.E.I.D. unit at Guntur)
i) No. of Post: 1
ii) Pay Band + Grade Pay :- Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/-
iii) Qualifications :- Matriculate with atleast one year Certificate from Recognized Institution in the relevant field.
iv) Age limit :- 18 to 30 yrs.
Note: Out of above 4 posts (T - I ), one each is reserved for S.T. & O.B.C. & 2 are for general candidates.

Fee:
Alongwith a demand draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of “ICAR Unit – CIRCOT, Adenwala Road, Matunga, payable at Mumbai 400019. No fees for SC/ST candidates.

General Instructions for Candidates:
1. Age Limit: Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates. There will be no maximum age limit for ICAR employees. Age relaxation is applicable to OBC/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates to the extent permissible under the rules.
2. Relaxation in upper age limit subject to submission of the requisite certificate.
a. By 5 years for SC/ST candidates for vacancies reserved for them.
b. By 3 years for OBC candidates for vacancies reserved for them.
c. By 10 years for physically handicapped (15 years for SCs/STs and 13 years for OBCs for vacancies reserved for them.
3. Applications for the posts at Sl.No.1 to 7 may be made on plain paper in the prescribed format given below containing particulars / information duly supported by attested copies of educational / technical experience certificate etc. The applications complete in all respects, should reach the Director, Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Adenwala Road, Matunga, Mumbai – 400 019 within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
