Oriental Bank of Commerce 916 Clerks Recruitment 2009

Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) is inviting applications for the recruitment of 916 Clerks.The bank is expanding its network of 1409 branches by adding 100 more & recently there was recruitment notification for 313 Probationary Officers.The recruitment notification will be posted on their site after Oct 10th,but here are some of the details,from our sources.

Clerical cadre – 916 posts(across various states) – Rs.4410 -/- Rs.13210

Dates : Online registration starts from – 10.10.2009

Online registration closes on – 10.11.2009 (Nov 10 2009)

Date of written examination – 27.12.2009 (Dec 27 2009)

Eligibility : To apply for clerical positions in Oriental Bank of Commerce,

* A Degree in any discipline/any class from a recognized university OR must have scored atleast 50% marks(aggregate) in 12th or its equivalent examination

* Age must be within 18yrs to 28yrs

* Read/Write/Speak the official language of the state applying for.

* Knowledge in Dos,Windows,Ms-Word,Excel& MS-Office is necessary.Certificate in computer course from any training centre must be submitted at the time of appointment(or within 6 months of joining the bank,if selected) These eligibility were posted during 2008 recruitment & we hope, it will the same for 2009 too.

Selection : The selection process for the recruitment of clerks in OBC will have a Written test & Interview as usual.

Application : The application fee of Rs.250(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) has to be paid at any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce before 10.11.2009.The payment receipt obtained must be specified in the online application & has to be given at the time of exam.
