UCO Bank started online registration for recruitment of 1000 clerks on 21 July 2010 & closes on Aug 28.To help understand the job notice, we have listed some common questions asked to us regarding eligibility – with clear answers.
Q: Can I apply for one state & write exam at another?
A : No.You can apply for vacancies in a state & must appear for exam at a centre in that state only.
Q: Who are eligible to apply for this UCO bank 1000 clerk jobs?
A: 1) Candidates with 60% marks in std.XII OR Pass in any degree from a recognized university, can apply
2) The age limit should be within 18 – 28 yrs as on 1.7.2010
Q:Should i know the local language of the state applying for?
A: Yes.You must know to read/ write/ speak the official language of the applying state.
Q: Is it necessary to have certificate in any computer course ?
A: It is required to have working knowledge in MS-Office (Word,Excel,PowerPoint etc).But UCO bank has not mentioned about computer certificate.So not needed.
Q: I have applied online.Should i send the print-out to the bank?
A: No.After applying online, you can take a printout of the system application – but should not send it to the bank.
