MEDICAL OFFICER (GENERAL DUTY) ,Posts: 1002
IN WEST BENGAL HEALTH SERVICE (BASIC GRADE).
PAY: Rs. 9,000/- - 40,500/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- plus admissible allowances.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, and registration as Medical practitioner in West Bengal; One year’s practical training as House Staff in any Government Hospital or other recognized institutions.
Desirable : Working experience in the field of Public Health.
AGE: Ordinarily not more than 32 years as on 01.01.2009 for ordinary Graduates and 40 years for those possessing Postgraduate qualification, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified and experienced candidates. Age limit relaxable upto a maximum of four years for political sufferers in certain circumstances;
