Application are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up the following posts in Delhi Police.

Sub-Inspector (Executive) Male

• Number of Vacancies : 380 Posts
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
• Age : 20-25 years as on 01.07.09 (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : Should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university at the time of filling up of application form.

Standard of Physical Measurement of Male candidates

Height : Minimum 170 cms

Chest : Minimum 81 cms to 85 cmsThe candidate is required to have minimum 81 cms chest in an unexpanded state and with expansion it should be minimum 85 cms. For all candidates minimum expansion has to be 4 cms., failing which he will be disqualified). Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas for which certificates as above will be produced.

Medical Standard : The candidates should be of sound health, free from defect/deformity/disease. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count.

Sub-Inspector (Executive) Woman

• Number of Vacancies : 82 Posts
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
• Age: 20-25 years as on 01.07.09 (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : Should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university at the time of filling up of application form.

Standard of Physical Measurement of Female candidates

Height : Minimum 157 cms

Medical Standard : The candidates should be of sound state of health, free from defect, deformity or disease. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count

• Helicopter Pilots Trainees : 10 posts (UR-5, SC-2, ST-2, OBC-1), Age : 18-30 years., Qualification : Should have passed 10+2 in Science with Physics and Mathematics or its equivalent from any recognised Board/University (ii) Current Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) issued by DGCA, Government of India., Stipend : The candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 25000/- p.m. after acquiring CHPL and during the MCF conversio training period and shall be plaed in the scale of Rs. 20600 - 46500/- (E-1 grade) on successful completion of training g and thereafter passing of DGCA Examination and acquiring endorsement on Pawan Hans type of helicopter.
